Mr. SHULER introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and in addition to the Committee on House Administration, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

To prohibit Members of Congress, including the Delegates and the Resident Commissioner to the Congress, and the President from receiving pay during Government shutdowns.

SECTION 1. PROHIBITION ON PAY DURING GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWNS.
