A BILL
To make permanent the increase in the alternative minimum tax exemption.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the `Minimum Tax Relief Act of 2003'.
SEC. 2. REPEAL OF SUNSET FOR THE ALTERNATIVE MINIMUM TAX.
Title IX of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001
(relating to sunset of provisions of such Act) shall not apply to title VII
of such Act (relating to alternative minimum tax).
