To authorize appropriations for the Department of State and international
broadcasting activities for fiscal years 2006 and 2007, for the Peace Corps
for fiscal years 2006 and 2007, for foreign assistance programs for fiscal
years 2006 and 2007, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the `Foreign Affairs Authorization Act, Fiscal Years
2006 and 2007'.

SEC. 3. DEFINITIONS.
(1) APPROPRIATE CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE- The term `appropriate congressional
committees' means the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the
Committee or International Relations of the House of Representatives.
(2) SECRETARY- Except as otherwise provided, the term `Secretary' means
the Secretary of State.
