To make the United States more secure by implementing unfinished
recommendations of the 9/11 Commission to fight the war on terror more effectively,
to improve homeland security, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the `Improving America's Security by Implementing
Unfinished Recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007'.
SEC. 2. SENSE OF CONGRESS.
It is the sense of Congress that Congress should enact, and the President
should sign, legislation to make the United States more secure by implementing
unfinished recommendations of the 9/11 Commission to fight the war on terror
more effectively and to improve homeland security.
