TheOrator Network - Col. Miri Eisin, an IDF senior intelligence officer, confirmed to CNN Wednesday the finding and seizure of official PA documents linking Yassar Arafat to past suicide murders. Eisin also called lies the claims from Palestinians that the documents are forged. The colonel said the findings are under review and will be released to journalists and the public in due course.
DEBKAfile reported Tuesday the discovery by Israeli troops of documents linking Palestinian Authority Chairman Yassar Arafat to suicide attacks on Israeli civilians and military targets. Files inside the the PA's personal accounting department, obtained during IDF raids, contain information linking the PA Chairman directly to attacks dating back to at least 2001, according to the source.Detailed information on funeral posters, arrangements, as well as the names and pictures of terrorists were found. Pricing figures and info for obtaining ammunition and explosive devices were also discovered.
A key document, according to the intelligence report, is dated September 16, 2001, only five days following the terrorist attacks on the U.S. The evidence is said to show clearly that Chairman Yassar supervised every last detail of the Palestinian suicide [attacks] offensive.
