A BILL
To abolish the Council on Environmental Quality.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. COUNCIL ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ABOLISHED.
(a) IN GENERAL- The Council on Environmental Quality is
abolished.
(b) CONFORMING AMENDMENT- The National Environmental Quality
Act of 1969 is amended by striking sections 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, and
208 (42 U.S.C. 4342-4346b).
