A BILL

To better assist lower income families in obtaining decent, safe, and affordable housing through the conversion of the section 8 housing choice voucher program into a State-administered block grant.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

SEC. 2. FINDINGS AND PURPOSES.

SEC. 3. DEFINITIONS.

under this Act to select suitable housing, and to re-locate to other suitable housing.

SEC. 4. AUTHORITY.

all dwelling units receiving such assistance are maintained in accordance with the standards described in subsection (b). Every dwelling unit in the State receiving assistance under this Act shall be inspected not less than once every 3 years.
