A BILL
To repeal the application of the sunset in the Economic Growth and
Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 to tuition programs which are qualified
under section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the `Savings for Personal Education Continuation
Tax Relief Act of 2005'.
SEC. 2. REPEAL OF APPLICATION OF SUNSET IN THE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND TAX RELIEF
RECONCILIATION ACT OF 2001 TO 529 PLANS.
Section 901 of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001
shall not apply to section 402 of such Act.
